Letter of Invitation
As part of your ALA conference registration, you will receive an invitation upon registering. If you need a Letter of Invitation before you register for your employer or to secure funding, please complete the Request for Invitation Letter.
ALA is unable to provide financial support for your participation and this letter does not financially obligate ALA in any way. If for any reason your visa is denied or you are unable to attend, you have until May 31, 2025 to cancel your registration and receive a refund, minus a $50 USD canceling fee. Registration cancellations must be sent to [email protected].
Travel Visa Requirements
Visitors traveling to the United States are required to be in possession of passports that are valid for six months beyond the period of their intended stay in the United States.
If you require a travel visa to visit the United States, please allow sufficient time for the application procedure. Visa requirements often change and vary by country, so be sure to visit the U.S. State Department website for the latest information when planning your trip.
